acer d250 how to remove bios password

    how do i go about removing the bios password. i have the password and can change it to anything, but i want to remove it for good so i can sell the laptop.

    Usually you goto "set" the password as you would normally, but there will be three fields. Old password, New password and a confirmation field. Enter your old password and leave the other two blank. Press enter and you should get a message about the password being removed.
