    Hi Everyone,

    Operating Systems Windows 8.1
    11.6 Screen
    1 Usb 2.0, 1 usb 3.0 port
    HDMI Port

    or
    Asus EeeBook X205TA
4th Gen Atom Quad Core Z3735F
    2GB Ram, 32GB EMMC
    Win 8.1

When it comes to specs, the Acer one is slightly superior with the slightly more powerful CPU, even if it's only Dual Core. It also had has 500 HDD. I'm not sure but I think the EMMC is only slightly faster, but 32GB is very limiting and will only be enough for Windows and a few basic browsers and programs. Your better choice is the HDD obviously unless you think 32GB will be enough for you.

So I'd advice you to go with the Acer. But in general I would never recommend Netbooks because of how impractical they are and how low their specs usually are just to lower the price and tempt you to buy them. May I ask what you intend to use this netbook for?

@Lun Thanks for asking. It was meant to be a temporary replacement for late 2012 macbook air (core i5/4gb/128gb). I got the acer and returned it just now as its just not even close to some of my windows desktops from a decade go. It lagged, it would take time to wake up when opened and also 2 open applications would slow it down.

I realise I'll need more than a celeron/2gb and I made a bad call. Back to research!

Glad you decided not to keep it. These netbooks are really much closer to scams to be honest. If you're willing to pay just a little more you may be interested in HP entry-level laptops. They have laptops as low as $300 with core i3 CPUs. I think as long as it's a temporary replacement it will do just fine for quite a while and you may be able to sell it later.
