Acer E5-573 Running really slow

Hi all. I don't get on here much as my PCs are generally running ok but I have an Acer E5 of I think 2015 vintage. A few years ago I had Windows 10 Home installed in place of Vista. Its running really slow now and takes an age to boot up and do anything else come to think of it. I was wondering if there was a way to get it to run a bit faster. I've already dumped the stuff I don't use anymore and the 8 gig HD isn't even half full. Any service tips would be most apreciated.
