Acer Messenger Call Button Grayed Out?

    Hello all, I'm new to the forum and also to Linux, but I'm trying to learn. Anyway, I have a question about the built-in messenger program on the Aspire One. I use it for just one account at the moment, Yahoo. I've noticed that when I have a chat window open, the "call" button is grayed out. Does this mean I can't voice chat with my contacts? Also, if this is the case and I can't use my mic with this chat program, what other program that comes with the Aspire One even uses the mic? I haven't found a way to test it yet. Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks!

    I just posted the same exact problem, about the call button on messenger.

    Looking for a solution for this.
