So i want to upgrade the RAM to 2Gb. Seeing as this new model i just purchased has the Memory slot underneath a plastic cover on the bottom of the unit, can i buy RAM that is rated at 667Mhz and use that? The reason i ask is because i cannot find a 2GB RAM Module that is also rated at 533Mhz. Only 667. I dont care if it throttles down, i simply need more RAM. Thanks for answering my question.

I believe the largest you can do is the 1GB sticks. The 2GB will conflict with the internal memory addressing from what I hear. Speed is unimportant. You won't find RAM slow enough to cause problems.

Even though i have the newest Acer One? Cause i checked and the max memory i can have is 2GB. If i remove the 1GB that is already in there and swap it with the 2GB stick, how would it run into memory addressing? I can see it running into problems if i ran more than 4Gb on a 32bit OS. But Windows is windows and i doubt it can break with just 2GB RAM. I placed an order for one of the "working" ram that was listed on the RAM thread. Lets see what happens.

Sorry, the reason for the post..... the Ram is Kingston ddr2 2gb pc2-5300 667mhz.....on the package it states
COMPATIBLE 667, 533, 400mhz.....so it is backward compatible to your system.....which in this case is 533mhz.
THe kinston is readily available....I bought mine at Microcenter for 23.99....save the 1 gb in case you ever have a problem..and need to send the machine back.

You're confusing the two models. D150 is different from A150 of X150/ZG5.
