Acer TravelMate 5720 VGA driver ISSUE!

    Hello everyone! :)

    I hope someone can help me out with unpleasunt driver issue for my laptop.
    Here is my setup:

    Laptop: ACER TravelMate 5720
    CPU: Intel Dual Core 1.8
    VGA card: ATI RADEON HD 2400 XT (intigrated)
    OS: Windows XP Professional (S3)

    So far I've tried to download the drivers from the ACER support website for my laptop and none of those worked - installation was interrupted with a message saying the version of driver is not compatible with the system. :confused:

    I have tried to install earlier ATI driver versions and same happened with those.


    Just a hint:

    I remember - one thing I did when I had the same issue long time ago,
    I found out about some kind of program that has to be run before you run installation for your drivers - and then you don't get that compatibility message popping out, but I forgot what that software was and can't find any informtion on internet.... :rolleyes:


    Anyone had same issue or knows the answer?
