Acer TravelMate 6593G XP Install Issue

Just bought an Acer 6593G. Came with Vista Business Installed. I had XP-Pro already, but the Acer came with an XP CD which does not boot. Ripped out the 300gig SATA and formatted on a PC [NTFS], using XP. Drive is perfect. Put it back in the Acer. XP starts to install, but getting the Blue Dump Screen on it’s first boot. I also have an Aspire 5720G which came with Vista, but had no problem installing XP. Is there some trick to installing XP on that model ? Thanks.
