I was going to attempt to install tinyvista on my new acerone 8gb. Since it does not carry a cd drive I think I should go buy a 2-4 gb usb stick or a sandisk card to attempt this.I know I have to change the boot order in the bios setting Is there anything else I should try? This is very confusing to me as well and any help would be greatly appreciated.Hope someone has already done this with success I know xp has been installed on these laptops but would like to see a clean version of vista.

    I really don't wan't to install win 2000 but will if have to.please help.thanks

follow the steps except you will be renaming the tinyvista iso and not XP iso. You will need a U3 compatible drive, and when you boot up and press F12 to select the boot device, you should see the Sandisk USB-CDROM which should be your Vista installation CD equivalent
