I'd like to replace Acrobat reader. Macles suggests a couple alternatives here, but I don't know that either is what I'm looking for. Could someone suggest an unbloated pdf reader that also plugs in to firefox? That seems the only reason for me to keep Acrobat. Not necessarily looking for someone to do legwork in trying things out for me, but any suggestions and/or experience would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

They can all be plugged into Firefox. It all depends on what you want to do. If you just want to open the pdf document in one of the programs, Firefox will prompt you for the program to use the first time you click on a pdf link (of course with the Acrobat plugin uninstalled). If you want to embed it in Firefox (which I detest), install mozplugger and follow the instructions here:

The most unbloated one is xpdf.
