add and removing

    hi ive changed my root admin password by following the sudo su and ive done all the advance stuff but whn i go to add and remove it asks me for the root password so i put it in but nothing happens. plus also whats this thing about root menu? can ne one help???? :?

    Have you tried your user password as well? Although it says it's authenticating as root, it may actually be using sudo!

    Dunno - what thing about root menu?
