My AO751h came without bluetooth. Can this be added ?

I know I can use the USB port for that, but I am looking for an internal solution.

I you search for "mini acer pcie" on ebay you get a lot of listing like this:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/54M-Mini-PCI-E-Wire ... 1e58b06ab7

A mini pci express card with wifi and bluetooth is how I would go about adding bluetooth. just plug it in underneath the touch pad where the current wifi adapter is and connect the mini RF connectors and install the drivers.

I havn't tried adding an aftermarket bluetooth/wifi card yet, so try it at your own risk. has anyone tried it???

    Also see this thread

there is a way you could add the blutooth adapter mentioned in the above thread, but I'm not sure if you would have all the right connectors or an antenna

Be aware the 751 use a HALF SIZE PCIe card. Using a PCIe card as linked to earlier in this thread will require you to do a modification inside the case. I think someone described it with pictures here somewhere. Just be careful of voiding any warranties.

The modification is shown on my thread linked - wave bye bye to the warranty. Having said that I have modded ll my eeePC's and all are still in use with the new owners!

I'm looking to do this too. I got mine with the Costco configuration last July.

I know these aren't internal, but they are pretty tiny so you'd barely notice they were attached. Just a thought for those who are shy about messing with their laptops. About $15. I haven't personally tested this model, by the way.
