Hello, I'm still having a few problems with this AA1 (I gave up for quite a while because the charge broke and I really couldn't be bothered getting another charger...until now!)

From what I remember, here is a brief summary of where I was...

    1) Tried Live update from Linux. Which failed...badly. The battery icon disappeared, couldn't get onto Add Remove programs, amongst a few other things. (Is live update safe to use now?)

    2) Installed a the full version of Kpowersave to solve the battery icon problem.

    3) Removed all the repos in the directory /etc/yum.repos.d/ - (cant remember what possessed me to do this though? I think it was because It kept crashing and giving me errors why it couldnt connect to the updates)

Add remove programs was then able to load up, but was unable to find any new software due to all the repos being deleted.

I was wondering what repos are meant to be in this directory (or which are meant to be enabled in add remove programs), that make this program work to its full potential?

If any one could browse their directory as mentioned above, and let me know what I *should* have in there, that would be really appreciated.

    Thanks!

My confiuration isn't exactly Acer original since I've installed VLC, but I think you'll get some functioning repos in the similar way by following VLC install instructions.
