Add/Remove Software problem!!!

    I cant open the add/remove software manager in linpus aspire one.
    (look at the picture) I dont think its the network connection because I can use firefox. can any one help me?

    click the repository manager. and see if the Fedora checkbox is ticked

    I have exactly the same problem with the Package Manager. In fact the screen shot could be off my AAO.

    Network connection is good (48Mb/s). I have been able to download programs without problem from the updates on acer.com

    In the Repository Manager is checked, by default, fedora (fedora 8 i386) and updates.

    Thanks from a newbie making some headway.

    I also have this problem - I guess this doesn't help other than your not alone seem to be lots of bugs in the Acer software - I had my aa1 about a week and still keep finding stuff - I have no email either (another common problem) can they be connected ? As with yours I have a good internet connection.
