I have had a play with installing from the repo (I installed an educational game - childsplay)

Now I want to add an icon to the desktop but can't figure it out.

I can start the program from the terminal by typeing childsplay

    Thanks

I can't believe I'm actually giving advice on this forum, since I'm about as new a newbie as ever was. However, I've been poking around trying to find out how to do things, and I found this: http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2008/09/05 ... _one_tips/. I hope it will answer your question.

    Oops,

I just noticed that the whole URL didn't appear in my post. However, the title of the article is Ten Tweaks for a New Acer Aspire One. I'm sure you can find it by googling on the title.
