Adobe 7 reader

I would like to read e-books from commercial traders, where I buy and download them. The trader requires to read them with adobe 6 or 7 - I assume for the Digital Rights Management. They two readers are available under linux however, can I load them in parallel to adobe 8 which is installed ex office on my AA1.
