I use my AA1 for work and Linux is sufficient. Open Office for the AA1 is great (I don't miss M$ Office) but if you want the 3.0 full install of Oo go to http://macles.blogspot.com/2008/10/installing-openoffice-30-on-acer-aspire.html for directions. Note: Follow the directions.

I'm a noobie to Linux (Linpus and Ubuntu) and I'm finding out new things daily about this Linux operating system.

My AA1 is portable so I can take it about anywhere in a messenger bag.

I have two 15" LCD monitors; one at home and one at work (thanks Cragslist). When I connect my AA1 to either one of them the eye stain is gone.

    I enjoy my Linpus AA1.
