After installed XP, The acer is VERY slow

    Hey guys, I installed Windows XP on my acer aspire one because I didn't like linpus.
    The only problem I have at this moment is that the thing goes very slow now.
    Is this normal or did I installed the wrong XP??

    If you only have 512k of memory then in my experience XP will be slow.

    I have upgraded my AAO to 1.5mb memory and XP profesional runs fine.

    I had a local computer shop upgrade my Acer for £28 which included the 1mb memory module. It was the best modification after fitting a 9 cell battery off Ebay.
