After Turn On, just hear the fan, no HDD activity

    My aspire one does not work, after pressing the 'on' switch, I just hear the Fan, no HDD LED flickers, and no activity on the monitor. exiting the Battery didnt helped.

    If you are running XP it sounds just like what I ran into.
