AG5 can't get out of sleep mode

    My AG5 is in sleep mode can't shut down or wake up . I've unplugged it and taken battery out , put it back and it's in sleep mode . So I though unplug let battery go down . Now it must be plugged in shows on battery will not take a charge and still in sleep mode . I'm stumped .
