all programs have internet icons for shortcuts

    its a friends,cant restore,reboot doers nothing,everything i try it says it has to go on line a find a program to open it.cant down load eather its a acer one d250-1042 modal kav60,intel atom processor n270,1gb of ram ddr2,160gb hdd,with windows xp home edition :?

    Windows explorer gone down. It's happening after contracting various types of viruses which changing/braking file associations...

    Easiest way to fix it is reinstall. I never been able to fully fix system after this type of issue.

    Will have to use xp professional corporate edition,that's the only operating program i have.
