I have been reading in this forum about installing Amarok on the One. The posts I have read all seem to suggest the same procedure, using the terminal and submitting this command --- sudo yum install amarok amarok-extras-nonfree --- , which is what I have attempted. I have succeeded in installing amarok, but the second part of the command referring to the nonfree extras has failed. The text in the terminal claims no such package exists. Is there another source for these extras? Will I be able to play mp3s without the extras? Any info on this subject would be appreciated.

    wayco,

This post gives you the answer. Once you download and install the .rpm, the repository you need will be added to your list, and then you'll be able to get the amarok extras. I just did it, and now I have MP3 playback capability!

    Cheers,
