The blue and white 6 cells that Amazon has listed for preorder each say that the unit will have one open pci-e slot for WWAN. Is this corrrect? Is this an Amazon exclusive or will all US 6 cell 160GB have the pci-e slot? I know on the Canadian 6 cell 160GB the pci-e slote is not on the board. Here is Amazon's specs:
    Product Features
    1.6GHz Atom N270
    1GB DDR2 SDRAM
1.3 Megapixel camera, SDHC and multi-format media readers
802.11b/g, Ethernet, three USB 2.0, VGA, and 3.5mm audio out
One free mini PCI slot for WWAN, 160GB hard drive (2.2 pounds)

This would be great if it actually had it. All I am looking for is a netbook with an empty pci-e for WWAN.

I believe not only you. Lot of people will really enjoy if there is miniPCI slot soldered and SIM holder is available...

It would indeed be a welcomed feature. However, I wouldn't hold my breath. Amazon.com also has the 6-cell model listed as weighing 2.2 pounds, which we know is incorrect.
