    correct folders are:

    C:\OEM\PRELOAD\CybroG\

put android.reg in \PRELOAD and everything else in \CybroG

sda2 has to be recognised by windows as D:

run AmSetup.exe, then from the new Acer Configuration Manager, choose Recover.

I have successfully installed Android by Insyde Corp thanks to the above poster

to get round the windows 7 system partitioning, i made sda1 NTFS and 100mb in size, sda2 4gb, and sda3 for the remainder, I installed Windows 7 to sda3

Quick question. I tried the alpha 2.1 build and it works great, but I went and changed the wifi card from the buggy stock AOA110 Atheros wireless to an Intel based 3945 for stability and compatibility. The hardware switch and LED work perfectly under windows and Linux. In fact, everything has worked out of the box all iterations of linux / moblin as I think the Intel support is built into the kernel.
However, It doesn't work in this android build as I'm sure the driver is not present or disabled.

I understand no one can anticipate all the variations one can do when swapping hardware and don't expect unsupported hardware to work out of the box. My simple question is, Is there an easy way to add the drivers or otherwise enable the Intel wifi?

Thanks for any help you all can provide.

I too have an AOA150 ZG5 that I would like to run android on. What do you need to make a build for it?

Sorry for the long lack of updates. Got an android phone and lack the use of it on a netbook. (never got wifi to work on broadcom and the lack of touch kinda sucks.)

However theres still a few people waiting to finish on demonoid. Im currently seeding the original torrent and I should be for the next week or two. Anyone who gets a full version is more than welcome to help me seed.

If after this time I still have the files and they need to be seeded. Feel free to send me an email at myforumusername@gmail.com

now i'm getting a bit frustated :( , as i over and over do the same process in case i have doing installment mistakes, but still no result :

i wipe out my whole HDD, make clean install based on full recovery cd i have downloaded from torrent, with C: as NTFS about 60GB, D: as FAT32 for 4GB (4096MB exact), the BIOS seems to be patched, acer android config and update runs ok with Android set as default OS. But STILL no android to boot .. it will always goes to Windows precisely as my installment experience before this (using slipstreamed files from hartleyshc). what is really wrong here ? where is exactly android bootloader located (in case i have the wrong / unpatched BOOT.INI files on windows) ? any help would be appreciated ..

This thread hasn't been touched for a while.

I have the same interest as gmgdnj above. I have a Windows/linpus dual boot AOA150 and want to either bin the windows build and load Android on it, or place Android on a third partition.

Has anyone attempted an Android build on an AOA150

    Cheers

    MD

    Hi,

I have a D250 and the harddrive has had all of the partitions deleted on it.
I have the recovery disks but would like to ask what partition scheme I need to setup and what sizes to get Android to work ?

    Thanks for your assistance.

drellisdee, just wondering if you are continuing your work on bringing full android to the AAO. Checked the website, and no info on a AAO build.

Any update on this? Especially for the AOA150?

I just tried the x86 1.6 and everything worked. I not have the eclair that was posted earlier, sitting as the only OS installed on the netbook. No sound, no wifi. Not sure if Ethernet is working as I misplaced the cable I had laying here for this project (think my kid got hold of it).

Over this past week I have become an android junkie. I bought an LG Optimus M, rooted it, messed with it, and now want the OS on my netbook.. working at least 95% right.
