Hello from a rejuvenated XP user :) Install went OK with USB, performance is excellent up to this point. I have been using Symantec Corporate Edition as antivirus for a long time, but would not want to place it on the One since it uses a lot of resources. Any recomendations for a quality antivirus which works well on the One? NOD32? F-prot? Thanks.

Yeap, the bad thing is that it consumes 35MB of RAM approximately. What about Avast and other antiviruses??

Installed BitDefender, it uses ~4.5MB of RAM most of the time. This seems pretty good. How does AVAST bare?

I know of the limitations od XP firewall. I said it works well enough for me, since I don't need advanced firewalling options, and I can detect myself if something fishy is going on with my network connection, especially if big uploads are happening (the main flaw of XP firewall).

NOD32!!! I will never get tired to say it! NOD32 is an amazing antivirus, it has a very basic GUI, but is a really reliable and trustworthy software that has given me no false positives and I have been using it for nearly 5 years! It's an amazing antivirus, if you can then don't hesitate to get it. I haven't gotten infected with anything so far thanks to it :) I trust it completely!

I'm currently using Avast. It's pretty good in my opinion, it takes a bit more space than other AVs, but you'll be better with Avast than with some other AV softwares.
