Come on guys, I know someone out there is skilled enough to make a custom kernel which could make F10 run more smoothly on the AAO so that it would not encounter some strange problems every now and then. :D

I am looking forward to it, since sickboy's kernel for Ubuntu Intrepid has been around for a while now. ;)

What sort of problems are you encountering with the stock Fedora kernel(s)? 2.6.27.12-170.2.5.fc10.i686 boots reasonably quickly and seems to work fine for me.
I haven't tried either of the following suggestions, so I don't know if they'll work properly, but I've done similar things in the past on my desktop machine without problems:
    1. compiling a Fedora (or vanilla) kernel using sickboy's config file
    2. manually install sickboy's kernel (extract the pieces from the deb file and put them in their proper places, then run mkinitrd to get a proper initrd file)
