I'm studying Industrial Design @ ASU.

Tempted to give Rhinoceros a try... from everyone else's input, seems like it would run well. Then again, at the same time, I don't really want to find out it's barely usable, uninstall it, but have clogged up my registry. So if anyone's tried it... I might give it a shot. Considering AutoCAD runs, and so does SketchUP...

Question for everybody, though. Are all the people running AutoCAD, Photoshop, Lightroom, Sketchup, etc. running the 120GBHD AAOs? Or 8GBSD AAOs?

I've got an ancient version of Rhino (1.1) that runs as a portable app just fine, but i haven't tried a highly complex model yet. I'm not sure how newer versions will run, but i think it will mostly depend on the file you're working with. Rhino is pretty lightweight considering what it does, so it should be fine.

    I'm using the 160GB AAO.

120 gb aspire running Vista, with 1.5GB ram. All runs fine in autoCAD 2008, and lightroom 2, although the menus can be a bit tricky fitting on screen.
