Any problems with external modem?

    Because I still use dialup, I installed an external modem. Worked fine for last few months, now cannot get the ISP toolbar to appear or Explorer to open. I don't believe the ISP is the problem since I can get online with another computer. Posting here to see if any other Aspire One users have experienced problems with an external modem. (One thing I have not checked is whether the particular USB port is faulty; will try that once this is posted, then get back with a follow-up.)

    I use a Zonet 3095 on a USB port and it works fine. You only need the drivers installed. The dialups are established in XP internet connections.
