There are numerous netbooks with Intel Atom processor these days with new ones coming out every week. :D

But is there any regular laptop model with Intel Atom.
I mean any laptop model with 15 inc screen and DVD drive having Intel Atom?

Atom is quite powerful and a dual core one with 2GB RAM should be able to handle Vista quite well.

I searched but could not find such a model. Any body else have ever come across one?

there is a dual core atom (I think it's N230, but can't be certain) but wikipedia will tell you. maybe there are some laptops witht that one.... but i doubt it, the main advantage of the atom is its low power usage.

Yes there is a dual core version of Atom which is more powerful than the one used in Aspire One. And it can handle Vista perfectly.

Infact there is even a desktop motherboard with Atom. See link below

and I've even seen a youtube video of a regular Atom desktop running vista

So I guess soon some one will bring in a regular laptop with Atom inside which will be low cost and powerful

not that big, i think the current one with the biggest screen would be the dell inspiron 12 (12" screen, full keyboard) but it only allows for 1GB ram.

That is by far the funniest review i have ever seen, that guy was going crazy, over a laptop!
Yes its amazing, yes its a netbook, but its not netbook prices.

i want one sure, he pretty much sold it to me, but at £500 your gonna have to sell me that price tag first...esp seeing as i got my A1 for £160, with 120gb hdd.

I admit the Asus N10J-A2 seems to be quite a nice computer as it has some really great features. They talk about the small power adapter but the listed weight of the computer is almost twice the AAO with the power adapter and the price is over twice what I paid for my AAO. I don't know if it would be worth the price hike.
