Any similar?

I recently acquired a used Dell Latitude e6420, and it is really busted up. I can make repairs to it to make it last a few more years, but it might not even last that long. It has an i7 core and nVDia graphics card which makes it great for 3D rendering, and a great multitasking, general tasks laptop. It feels like a very sturdy laptop, and I was wondering if there was a laptop out there that feels about the same and is a sturdily constructed but performs at a much higher level. My budget is around 1200-1500. A small to medium variance is also okay on price range.

Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated!
