any TEMP forder ?

    Hi,

    someone know if there is a TEMP folder to clear sometimes, on linpus ?
    Where it puts his temporaly files ?

    Linpus, and Unix in general, put temporary files in /tmp/

    Nope. And by "nope" I mean "this isn't Windows, you don't have to worry about that :) "

    In all my years of running Linux I've never had /tmp junk up, *nix ain't NT or DOS based ;) Seriously though, it's not really anything to think about, it's all handled in a far cleaner and more efficient way than the Windows temp folder is.

    If you 'junk it up' you'll be the one doing so... and you'll know you need to clear it.

    But as was already mentioned, it's not really necessary.... ;)

    /tmp is mounted with tmpfs in Linpus, that is, it is mounted on a ramdisk so it will be cleared when you reboot anyway.
