Any Western Digital Exetrnal hard drive Users ?

    I just recently bough a portable WD elements drive with 500 gb that I was planning to use to store movies / music / work I could transfer and use on the Asipre ONe.

    I read about some ntfs-3g file others downloaded for other makes of drive and just wondered if that would also work with this or whether there are other issues with this drive causing it to not work.

    It does detect it but because not the content thats on the drive and cursor seems to freeze.

    Any ideas on what i could do would be appreciated , I was contemplating putting windows Xp on there but thought Id rather ask here first.

    hmmm thats strange im using the 1 terrabyte western digital external hardrive with mine now and its rrunning no probs have you checkeed it on another comp/laptop
