anybody tried Linux Mint 8 Helena RC1?

    maybe I'll download it tonight and test it out on my AOA150, but wanted to know if anybody did first and if wi-fi was working out of the box, since I read last version didnt

    i have mint 8 on my aspire one d150 (harddisk model) and everything is working ok (except for card readers)
    but card readers can be fixed with tip mentioned a but further in this forum

    i am happy with this release and all is working well

    youtube movies are working - flash is playing - sound works ok - camera works

    booting speed is about the same as mint 7 - working is a bit snappier
