Anyone try FM2009?

hello everyone i'm new here, just got my one last week... it rocks!
i have a question, because i'm just installed football manager 2009, but when i start it there nothing come out, when i clicked the icon again it says that the game already running. i look at the task manager there is any fm.exe in process tab but not in application tab.
I'm wonder what the problem is, is it my installer or because aspire one can't run it.
If anyone here succesfully play it, please share....thx

 

Guys it work!! Footbal Mnager 2009 work well in aspire one (not yet try the 3d look)
Found this solution from sicommunity
the problem it not working is because fm need min resolution 1024x768
to fix it use a1ctl or astray (though you still can use your original resosution but there is a lil cut part)
and add -windowed -small_screen in fm shortcut
eg "C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\fm2009.exe" -windowed -small_screen
yup solve. to share if you fm lover too and want play it anywhere with your aspire one like me!!

How are you finding FM09 on the aspire One. I have the 1gb model on Win XP.

I can only run the game though Astray download in windowed model.
I have 2 problems
1. If I go to the preference screen the game crashes.
2. I find the 2D game engine really slow. and 3D not working at all.

Do you have any ideas or tweaks to get the game running,

I have gone back to FM08 at the moment which runs like a dream on my machine.

dude, i have same problem
It crashed when try to open preference page, still don't know how to fix it
3d look in my one is working but not smooth
the 2d look working smooth but it load a lil bit long...
I'm not use any tweak, mine is 1gb version xp too maybe try to spare more memory because it needs many memory to run
