AO D150-1920 Freezing During Defrag

    Hi everyone!

    I've been trying to defrag my AO D150-1920 for days now but to no avail. The lat time I did this successfully was in January this year. I've tried defragging using Auslogics Disk Defrag, Windows defrag, Norton 360 Disk Optimization, but my netbook just freezes. It goes upt to about 3% then stops. I had to do a cold boot which would then result to a scan disk prompt when I turn it back on.

    I have 44.5 GB free space in my 143 GB capacity netbook. What am I doing wrong? It couldn't be the defragging software because I've tried 3 different ones and they all froze.

    I've been using Auslogics for years, never found a fault with it. The Windows software would be alright too. As a guess I'd say either your hard drive has developed a physical fault. Are there any other problems with the system at all?
