Right, let's get to the point shall we, and beat a dead horse yet again...
I've seen the 'Fn+ESC 3309.fd to zg5ia32.fd' guide all over the forum, and most people seem to have the AO250/AO110/etc versions of the Aspire One.

    Now, I've tried this: http://support.acer.com/acerpanam/netbook/0000/Acer/AspireOneAOA110/AspireOneAOA110faq22.shtml
    and I checked this out:

These guides don't work... atleast not for me :?
I take out the battery, plug in the AC, plug in the USB key (tried Corsair Flash Voyager GT and a Lexar 1Gb Firefly), press and hold 'Fn+ESC' and then
I press the power button (if I hold the power button down like the guy in the vid nothing happens, button needs to be pressed and released for the comp to start).
I tried releasing the Fn+esc keys when the power button lights up, I've waited between 5 and 30 seconds before releasing the key combination, no blinking power light.

Is It "super bricked" or is there some weird thing that needs to be done with the 532h model? Voodoo, blood offerings?

I had the exact same problem. It came after I upgraded to Win-Pro and foolishly
thought sticking a 2G memory card in, wouldn't brick my notebook.

    Here is what I did:

    1) Your MUST make a crisis disk (USB). Use the following package to do it.

    http://rapidshare.com/files/357391707/crisdisk.rar

Run Wincris.exe and create a USB boot disk.

    2) Reload the disk and remove all files except the SYS file.

    3) Copy everything from the Acer BIOS (v1.21) DOS folder, into
the root of the USB disk. This would be a BAT file, the FLASHIT.exe
    and the NAV50.fd file.

    http://support.acer.com/drivers_download.aspx

    Download Drivers->Aspire One->532h->BIOS->v1.21

    4) Remove the battery and the AC.

    5) Hold Fn-Esc down and plug in the ac.

    6) Bump the power switch.

    7) Wait a few and release the keys.

    8) Watch as the USB stick LED flashes (not the power switch). If not just touch the Power switch again.

    9) Wait for the power light to go dark. Mine did not re-boot. I waited another 6mins just for dramatic effect.

    10)Put the battery in.

11)Remove and plug in the AC. The power light comes on. Press it. Voila.
