    Hi

Thanks to everyone for all the gudies , tutorials & info its all been very useful.

    I have a AOA 150 running osx 10.5.7.
Everything seems to work ok apart from the following ...

    i) My USB pen drive and USB wireless mouse are only recognised if they are attached at boot.
II) If i shutdown when not plug into the mains I get a kernel panic.
iii) Original WIfi card is recognised but when i scan with kismac my network is found very very occationally.
(not a big issue i'm awaiting the arival of a replacement comapitble wifi card).

here's a brief outline of my install ...

I followed the Ideneb 10.5.6 tutorial.
did a software update to 10.5.7.
Reintalled the "Acer Aspire One A150" patches from the ideneb 10.5.6 and the other drivers from the original tutorial.
Fixed the audio & the dmg issues.

I guess somewhere down the line i've missed somthing.
Anybody have any idea how i fix my issues.

    thanks in advance

    Scott

Just a quick post to say i've fixed all my problems...

    i) usb issue was a mismatch between my kernel version and my system.kext
ii) shutdown ... duh!! ... forgot to apply the shutdown sound fix from the original tutorial.
iii) installed dell compatible card. working

    also upgraded ram to 1gig

    now have a fully working 10.5.7 :0)

    thanks for the help

    cheers

    scott

i was going to say system/kernel mismatch but you said you fixed dmg errors so i assumed you had done that.
