AOA pre-installed software questions

    I have an AOA 110-1588, Model ZG5... It comes with a bunch of pre-loaded software that I probably don't want or need... So far the, first thing I did was to uninstall McAfee virus protection and install AVG Free 8.5... AVG uses much less resources from my experience... Now for my other software questions...

    This unit came with "Intervideo WinDVD" software and it's in the Startup group... What's the purpose of this software and why is it in my startup group??... As you guys know this AOA does NOT have an optical drive...

    Dunno, maybe if you ever connected an external optical drive winDVD would use it....

    In my experience I've never used it, on desktop PC's or anywhere else.
