hello. i have a aoa 110 aspire one, i have already done a few mods with help off this site, like the desktop switcher, but the 8gb hdd is just not big enough for me! i have a 2gb sd card in it aswell.
i thought of buying a 16gb card but have been thinking into a hdd swap?

is this possible? how would i swap the linpus OS on to it and all my files? so i can use just the 1 hdd and boot off it?
and what size? and type off hdd do i need?

or is it just easier and cheaper to buy a 16gb sd card!

    thanks people!

easier to buy a card, but the integrated SSD is bloody slow... if you browse around a bit (in the hard drive section) you'll find instructions on how to replace the SSd with something else. as far as operating systems go, anything is possible (linux, windows, mac). have fun!

Yes. It is possible. I did such a mod twice and it works nice. I have one extra HDD right for this mod if you are interested - just PM me ;)
