AOA150 battery at 0% won't charge?

    I have had this Acer Aspire One since August last year.

    It is model #: ZG5

    It worked completely fine until I tried using it again yesterday and noticed the battery is at 0% and won't charge at all.
    Only way for me to work on it is to plug it into the outlet.

    When I look at the settings for the battery it just reads "UNKNOWNBAT1".

    Is my battery dead or is there something I can do to fix this issue?

    I seemed to have fixed my own issue.

    I just turned off my laptop took out the battery and put in the AC and just used my laptop for about 10 minutes batteryless.

    Put the battery back in after the 10 minutes and it seems to be charging again. :)
