I have the 5007G artheros card ... just wondering if there are / where I can get ... any updated drivers for the wireless card?

Whenever I click on a webpage it takes 15-20 seconds to load. The other laptops I have witth Intel cards have no problem and everything loads quickly. Guessing it has to be somethign with the card or driver incompatibility.

Are you running the default installed McAfee antivirus ? Are you running IE8 ? Both can slow down the perceived speed of browsing websites, since both by default checks webpages against their respective anti-phishing databases.

Have you tried it using the ethernet port, just to be certain it's truly a wireless issue?

Yeah loads right quick on the wired network.

I worked my way over to the acer site and got on 2/19/09 drivers ... seems to have resolved the issue
