Hi, many thanks for guide. Really easy to follow. My acer is D250-0Bb. Have changed wifi for dell dw1510 and wifi is working straight away. Also have changed hard drive for bigger and faster. seems to me that it's little bit noisier. but no bigie. dual boot with win 7 is fine too. easybd fixed that as lajos described. webcam works fine. resolution is 1024x600.

the minuses are that microphone is not working, no ethernet, no sleep. any ideas how to fix anything from these?

Well I would like to thank the creator of this thread. I just successfully installed OSX on my Acer D250. I tried Atkos and Snowywindosx and found iDeneb to the be the most stable and compatible of all of them. Everthing is working great, however I do miss Sleep and the Ethernet. the Dell DW150 I ordered of ebay is also working great.

I was able to install Windows 7 on a 2nd partition and with the help of easyBCD able to get a perfect dual booting setup.

Hello. This is not my first venture into OS X on Windows Hardware, but have had little success.

I have the Acer Aspire One D250-1026 and it has just 1 Gig of Ram.

I'm hoping my issue is SIMPLE, as I have iDeneb 1.6 Lite as that was the only one I could get right now.

No Wi-Fi. (Probably cause I havn't swapped the card. RIght now, I can live)
Sound SEEMS choppy at times. (Again, I can live)
If I change cpus to 2, or delete the line entirely, I get kernel panics, USUALLY during the splash-screen!

    HELP!

    Is it due to Lite?
It doesn't seem to panic on the same thing every time.

I have OS X 10.5.8 installed and running using iAtkos v7. Its AWSOME. Only one problem. I need a screen resolution of 1024x700. Im stuck at 1024x600 any way to change this? Im using a Acer Aspire One D250-1759.

I got Ethernet working on my D250 this weekend using the driver found here

    http://code.google.com/p/iats/

I used the Attansic / Atheros L1C for Leopard driver

All you do is download the zip file, unzip it and load the kext with kexthelper and reboot.

    hello,
quick question, is there any usb wifi dongle that compatible with osx 10.5.x ? i'm planning to buy d-link dwa111 as replacement wifi dongle for my osx86 (iatkos 10.5.8), can anybody confirm that it will work on 10.5.x ? currently i wouldn't swap my wireless card to broadcomm chipset based because it would broke my pre installed android as it has been reported

I use my own solution for wifi. I own an iPod Touch, and using PDANet, I can tether the wifi connection from that to my Netbook over the USB cable.

It's a great solution if you happen to own any iDevice.

My install is pretty stable, I occasionally get a panic during boot involving kextd but that's about it. Has anyone got two-finger scrolling working with the stock touchpad driver? I'm currently having to use VoodooPS2 which can cause a panic under certain circumstances.

    It's a real shame sleep doesn't work :(
