    Hello all,

I have a problem with upgrading RAM on my AOD260.
Originally was installed SAMSUNG 1GB DDR3 SDRAM PC3-10600 (667MHz) - 1333, so I bought KINGSTON (KVR1333D3S9/2G) 2GB, DDR3 PC3-10600 CL9 (667MHz), but when I install it, my computer doesn't even start. I mean it starts, Power light turns on, HDD light blinks once and display stays turned off. What could be wrong? Max allowed capacity is 2GB and the RAM's frequency is the same. Number of pins is also the same (204) but the devil won't work.

Can anyone advise me what is wrong?

    Hi there,

    Welcome to the Forum.

The problems associated with upgrading the memory in the D260 have already been discussed on the forum, a quick search will bring up a few topics like this viewtopic.php?f=55&t=21027

If you can use search in future to ensure we don't clog up the forum with double posts for the same information it'd be appreciated.

    Cheers
