I have the original Acer Aspire One with the 8GB SSD (AOA110 or AOA150; not sure ATM but they're similar enough). I Actually replaced the SSD with a 20GB Hitachi 1.8" HDD. Because I now use an Alienware M11x, I'd like to put Apple OS X on it. I have an ulterior motive... a pulled HDD from a Mac that a neighbor would like me to try to recover files from after replacing it in their iMac.

Where should I start? I have a 5-license OS X Leopard installation disc. What's next?

u cant swap a hd from an iMac and the AOA and have a working hackintosh.

if you have no experience in building a hackintosh, then i suggest to to dl ideneb/iPC/aktos and have a fresh install. there are guides on the boards posted already.

Install iDeneb and use a USB caddy for the existing drive, that would be my solution.
