I have two spare 512mb Apple sticks from my MacBook Pro that are not being used.

Are these compatible with the Acer ONE? The memory specs look the same but i didnt want to open them (i have 2 AAO's) and find out they are the wrong sticks.

Depends where it was pulled? An iBook? a Macbook?

I know Apple used to use wierd memory timings. But i through a no-name 2Gb in my Macbook and it worked fine. Whats the brand on the RAM you have? I believe mine was hyjnix or something.

I installed Corsair Mac RAMs and they just work fine. It's just that they support faster timings than usual RAMs. They run perfectly on the AA1, so don't care about that.

I'm pretty sure the 1Gb DIMM in my AAO is out of a mac, pretty much any DDR2 laptop memory should work, and if it doesn't work it won't hurt your AAO (well, it's possible, but it's not very likely at all).
