Arduino??

Hi, I'm just about to start some tests for installing the Arduino ( http://www.arduino.cc ) development enviro on the linpus vesion of the AA1. Anyone else done any work in this direction already?? I'm keen not to re-invent the wheel!

Specific expected problem areas are going to be the Java enviro which needs to be the correct one for Arduino, GCC, and AVRdude.

Any help / comments etc welcome.

 

Well, I'm not using Linpus (Ack, SPIT!) on my AAO .. Ubunutu 8.10 here (even though the video problems cause me a lot of grief, I put up with it for now because a fix is on its way) .. and I use my AAO for Arduino development a lot. It all just works - installed AVRDude and the AVR gcc just fine, the Java environment works, etc. No issues whatsoever, to be frank. But that could be because I'm not using LinPUS (Ack, SPIT!)
