    Hi Guys,...

Im really new with linux, never deal with 'em before.

In the posts i frequently read that we can edit the xml file, for example put a launcher on the desktop.

Can you show me steps to do it, for I a complete noob. Is it trough the terminal? Or file manager maybe?

I really appreciate if someone willing to help me.

    Thank U.

Just Click on any of the links in the "Files" section, then erase everything in the address bar, and type /home, then click User >.config > xfce4 > desktop

You should see a file called group-app.xml Open that up. Inside, will be instructions for your One on what programs to display in the simplified user interface. Instructions on how to add Skype and VLC are located in other threads. If you need any more help, feel free to ask!

Instead of just typing /home, try typing /home/user/.config/xfce4/desktop then you should see the group-app.xml file. Good luck!
