aspire 0ne reformatt??

    so I am trying to follow the directions in my manual to "restore my computer to its original settings without recovery cds" I can get to the BIOS and make sure the D2D recovery is enabled and I can get to the recovery directions......but the first direction is to insert the disk!!!!!! I have no disk and no drive to put on in!!..

    The original issue is that when I log in, the computer logs me off......I can not get to the windows page to try to use the eRecovery icon...

    Any ideas how to reformat this thing?? Thanks

    Thanks for all the help!!!! I finally found a phone # for support and after a bunch of attempts at resetting the hard drive they are sending me a thumbdrive to download the software from........... Hope it works!!!

    I'd be interested in knowing if what is on that thumbdrive is the same as on the XP Install disks.
