aspire aoa150 SCREEN TO BRIGHT very white background help

    hi i have a acer aspire NETBOOK aoa150, the screen is way to bright. ive googled alot and tried a few things but can't seem to figure out how to turn the brightness down. i've tried the brightness adjustments on the keyboard but they don't reduce the contrast that much. ive updated the bios, reduced the gamma setting to 0 on the intel graphics media accelerator, but still nothing. im wondering if my lcd is shot. i connect a external monitor and it looks perfect on the external but not the netbook. I can hardly read anything on the screen when using the netbook.
    Please help me, im really desperate to get this fixed.

    Have you tried reinstalling graphics card driver? maybe you have wrong version installed or something like that.
