    Hi there pals,

I have come across with this issue:

i have an Acer Aspire E15 (exact model is: ES1-511-C065) which came with Linpus operating system by default. The thing is , it does not boot.

While loading initrd and so on... it says this:

    "setting hostname localhost.localdomain FAILED"

***** An error occured during the filesystem check.
***** Dropping you to a shell: the system will reboot
    when you leave the shell.
    Unmounting file systems.
    Automatic reboot in progress
    Restarting system

After this, it reboots. I am never dropped into a shell, it just reboots.

Please, i don't want to install another distro now, i just want to know if this is fixable and where the root of this problem comes from. It's pretty weird to me that Acer sells laptops without even being tested, i mean... just bought it and does not work as it should, it does not boot correctly. I read in google some threads but everyone is recommending to remove Linpus, but this error does not happen in every model as far as i could see... besides, in those cases the problem was not the same i am witnessing.

    Thanks in advance. Cheers!
