Since I bought it, it has been freezing constantly. Only forced shotdown helps.
I have updated every BIOS, running 3212, tried XP & Windows 7, all kinds of Intel, Realtek, touchpad, voodoo drivers, no solution.
Who has a solution for it or is the Acer repair support the only answer?

    thanks, Benny

What Virus (i.e., Grisoft, etc.) and FireWall (i.e., ZoneAlarm, etc.) are you running?

No antivirus yet (freeze on download).
    Windows regular firewall.

    I just realized something strange:

On the first admin account, the computer freezes mercilessly and swiftly, around 15 Minutes.
But, after having created a second (admin) account, and logging on with that, the computer does not freeze, apparently.

    How can that be?

FWIW - The reason I asked what Virus and FireWall you were using is because Microsoft Security Essentials (Virus) and ZoneAlarm together causes system freezes.
